Refreshed Nissan Elgrand launched in Malaysia
Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) today introduces an updated version of the Nissan Elgrand 7-seater large luxury MPV sporting a revised appearance and improved equipment whilst retaining its proven 3.5-litre V6 engine that remains good for 276hp @ 6,400rpm and 344Nm @ 4,400rpm, dispatched to the front axle by a CVT.
The new Elgrand can be easily identified by its powerful and expressive chrome-plated front grille flanked by a revised headlamp cluster that incorporates adaptive LED projector headlamps as standard, improving not only night time illumination, but also beam coverage around corners. New 18-inch chrome-finished multi-spoke alloys occupy the four corners.
Inside, the Elgrand accommodates its seven occupants in considerable luxury, with touches such as diamond-shaped quilt patterns and brown double stitches on the black leather-upholstered seats. The insertion of deep wood grain trim further highlights the black interior’s luxury ambiance.
the middle two cocooned in Ottoman seats equipped with adjustable shoulder support. Driver seat is 8-way electrically adjustable, and additional luggage space can be freed up with a sliding function of the third row seats, which can be pushed as much as 240mm forward even when occupied.
Available with a choice of four colours – All-New Imperial Umber, Brilliant White Pearl, Brilliant Silver and Phantom Black – the facelifted Nissan Elgrand is available at an on-the-road price of RM398,379.85 with insurance with a warranty of 3 years or 100,000kms (whichever comes first). Bookings are now accepted at Nissan Showrooms nationwide.
