Nissan NV200 now with Semi Panel Van variant
The Nissan NV200 range has just been bolstered by the addition of a new Semi Panel Van variant to join the existing Panel Van. The new variant introduces a second row of seats to accommodate three passengers at the back, and access is via a pair of sliding doors with fixed glass windows.
The NV200 is a replacement of the highly popular Vanette, and it is built on a modified version of the front-wheel drive B-platform that also underpins the Latio among many vehicles. It is powered by the Latio’s HR16DE engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Notable features of the NV200 include electric power steering, trip computer, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, pre-tensioned front seat belts, and driver airbag.
“The new Nissan NV200 Semi Panel Van is the second variant we are introducing for the NV200 range which was launched in Malaysia earlier this year. The model has been extremely well accepted and this new variant will extend its usage to other sectors of the industry which require a reliable, cost- efficient transporter for cargo or passengers, or both,” said Dato’ Dr. Ang Bon Beng, Executive Director of ETCM.
On-the-road price of the NV200 Semi Panel Van in Peninsula Malaysia is RM70,900 inclusive of insurance and registration. It is protected by a 3-year / 100,000km warranty.
