AAM Malaysian 4X4 Rally to flag off at Jaya One on 1 November 2008
Petaling Jaya, 27 October 2008 – The fourth and final round of the AAM Malaysian 4X4 Rally Championship will flag off from the newly-opened Jaya One complex this coming weekend. Fans will be able to get close and personal with the 4WD machines, their drivers and co-drivers from 0930 hours in the morning until noon. Shortly after that, the rally will flag off and the first special stages will be at the MAAH Plantation near the Sepang International circuit. The first and onlt SS for day 1 will be flagged off at 1500 hours, and this SS will end at 1800 hours.
On day 2, the rally resumes at Residence Hotel, Uniten, Kajang, and a total of two special stages will be run. After that, the rally cars will make their way back to Jaya One, arrivng at 1600 hours for the finish ceremony and prize giving.
For the uninitiated, the AAM Malaysian 4X4 Rally Championship is for 4WD trucks such as the likes of the mitsubishi Triton, Hilux, Ford Ranger, and Isuzu D’max.
Leading the Championship is William Mei, a veteran driver, in a Isuzu D’Max.
