Wald Motorsports models on show at Dreamcars Asia Motorshow 2005
Kuala Lumpur, 7 July 2005 – If you are a Wald fan, go check out the Dreamcars Asia Motorshow 2005, at the KL Convention Centre, next to the KLCC Kuala Lumpur. The full range of Wald models imported by Amazing Tempo is on show there, including a convertible Beetle.
The star ofthe display must be the Touareg V10, due to be introduced to the press today. With 5.0 litres of engine and heaps of power, the Touareg will set adrenalin flowing even in old veins.
There are some other cars on display, including the R3 Gen2, and a cute little R3 Savvy.
The cars on show are okay, but the organization of the event is not the best.
There was a media registration booth, but no media passes. We got in on an organizer’s pass, and when we wanted to get out, the security guard at the entrance would not let us out. We were forced to walk another 800 metres at least to get to the other side, and come back along the corridor, right past the door we wanted to get out of in the first place. What an injustice, because some big shots went out the same door just before we got to it. Why the double standard?
