Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has just commenced its City Survival Workshop series for female owners of Nissan vehicles. The workshop aims to empower women with the necessary knowledge on how to face dangerous situations or if possible, how to avoid them altogether.

In the workshop, participants are taught self-defense techniques and ways to be more vigilant when traveling around. Demo exercises are performed to show how they can react when their safety is threatened.

Executive Director of ETCM, Dato’ David Chen said, “The safety and well-being of our customers, especially our female owners, have always been of utmost importance for ETCM. We hope the skills learnt at this workshop will be beneficial to protect them from the dangers prevalent nowadays, especially in the cities.”

The first session of the series had just concluded recently at the Grand Paragon Hotel in Johor Bahru for Southern customers with two more sessions to go in G Hotel, Penang, on 29 June and in Royale Bintang, The Curve Hotel, Petaling Jaya, on 6 July.

A separate series of workshops, called the Road Survival Workshop, is also being organized by ETCM, which focuses on teaching participants on what to do and how to provide help in a road accident. The Road Survival Workshop sessions will be conducted on 18 May, 15 June and 22 June at Zenith hotel, Kuantan, Ming Garden hotel, Kota Kinabalu and Grand Margherita hotel, Kuching, respectively.
