EON smart 3S Dealership In Glenmarie Now Officially Open

Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON) has officially opened its first electric vehicle (EV) dealership in the country. The EON smart Glenmarie 3S dealership marks the company’s debut into the EV segment and reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility.

EON is a wholly owned subsidiary of DRB-HICOM Berhad and had invested about RM4 million to establish the smart 3S centre in Glenmarie to provide premium EV services. smart_Showroom

The facility, fronting the high-traffic Persiaran Kerjaya, has a built-up area of 4,362 square feet. The showroom fits up to 3 display cars, with a delivery bay next to it. The state-of-the-art facility also includes a spacious and comfortable customer lounge with a cafe area, a discussion lounge, a dedicated children’s room as well as complimentary WiFi.

The service area covers 3,716 square feet and has 4 service bays within i.e. 2 for service and repair, 1 for high voltage service, and 1 for wheel alignment. There are also 8 dedicated parking spaces for customers, 2 AC (Alternating Current) chargers (max 22 kW), and one DC (Direct Current) charger (max 60 kW).

The dealership was officially opened by Dato’ Jezilee Mohamad Ramli, Group Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Services of DRB-HICOM. Present at the ceremony were Mr Zhang Qiang, Chief Executive officer of PRO-NET, and Akkbar Danial, Head of Automotive Distribution DRB-HICOM and Chief Executive Officer of EON.

Akkbar expressed EON’s focus towards delivering the smart #1, which was recently launched by PRO-NET on 21 November 2023, to customers. “We anticipate our smart 3S dealership will play a pivotal role in meeting the rising demand for smart #1 and making a significant impact on the local EV market”, he said.

The EON smart Glenmarie showroom is open Monday to Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. On Sundays and public holidays, it operates from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Meanwhile, servicing hours are: Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM; Saturday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The service centre is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
