Petron Malaysia Opens Its 800th Service Station At Pedas-Linggi Layby Southbound
Petron Malaysia reached a new milestone with the launch of its 800th service station, strategically located at the Pedas-Linggi Layby Southbound along the PLUS North-South Expressway. The opening of this station bolsters Petron’s dedication to expanding its reach and providing enhanced services to motorists nationwide.
The new 4,047 sq ft station aims to serve both local and long-distance travelers heading south, providing a timely stop for drivers to refresh and refuel, particularly during road trips for school holidays and festive periods.
More Than Just Fuel
Beyond offering Petron’s range of quality fuels, including Blaze 100 Euro 4M, Blaze 97 Euro 4M, Blaze 95 Euro 4M, Turbo Diesel Euro 5, and Diesel Max Euro 5, the station features a comprehensive Treats Mart convenience store. This includes popular offerings like Dunkin’, Costa Coffee, and an ATM for added convenience. Notably, this is the first Petron service station to feature a Quick Treats booth located directly at the forecourt, allowing customers to easily grab snacks and beverages without leaving their vehicles.
“The opening of our 800 th service station marks a great end to 2024 and an excellent start to 2025 for Petron. This shows our commitment to bringing our products and services to more Malaysians, which cater to their fuel needs and many more. As we transform our stations into a place of convenience, we are excited to diversify our non-fuel business and welcome more partners who share our passion for service and excellence,” said Mohd Nizam Mansor, General Manager of Petron Malaysia.
Sustainability And Innovation At The Forefront
Petron Malaysia is not only focusing on business growth but is also committed to sustainability. The Petron Pedas-Linggi Layby Southbound station incorporates several green solutions, including rainwater harvesting for efficient water consumption, solar-powered lighting to reduce carbon emissions, and the use of eco-friendly building materials to minimise environmental impact.
In addition, the Treats Mart features a “Sapot Lokal” section which provides a platform for local entrepreneurs to showcase their products. This initiative has been in place since 2021, offering local businesses opportunities through Petron’s network of Treats Marts and through various collaborative efforts.
