PETRONAS Urania LCV Oil Promises Enhanced Durability & Performance For Light Commercial Vehicles & Pickup Trucks
PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) has officially launched its new PETRONAS Urania Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) engine oil range, specifically formulated to meet the unique demands of the local light commercial vehicle and pickup truck markets. The new oils promise improved durability, enhanced viscosity retention, and overall superior engine performance.
The new PETRONAS Urania LCV engine oils utilises advanced StrongTech technology. This formulation is specifically designed to enable diesel-powered vehicles to stay on the road longer, thus reducing the need for frequent servicing. The key highlights include the potential for lower maintenance costs, extended oil drain intervals, and excellent performance even in harsh driving conditions. This engine oil is versatile enough for use in daily logistics and transport operations, rugged off-road adventures, as well as challenging fleet management scenarios.

This included the recent Rainforest Challenge (RFC), one of the most demanding off-road motorsport events globally. The lubricant’s resilience shown in these tests is considered particularly beneficial for the domestic LCV market, where reliable transportation of goods and efficient business operations are crucial.
