All-New Honda RS-X Winner Launched In Malaysia: More Power, More Tech, More Style

Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd has officially launched the highly anticipated all-new Honda RS-X Winner, a revamped version of its popular cub bike, designed to deliver an enhanced riding experience for Malaysian motorcyclists. This new model boasts a host of upgrades aimed at improving versatility, performance, convenience, and safety, making it suitable for both daily commuting and weekend adventures. 

The Honda RS-X Winner, has undergone significant improvements, earning a 5-star rating from the MyMAP Program for meeting stringent international standards. This new iteration boasts 7 key enhancements i.e.:

1. New 150 cc DOHC Engine: The Honda RS-X Winner features a new 150 cc DOHC, 6-speed, liquid-cooled engine that delivers a maximum power output of 11.8 kW (15.8 hp) and 13.6 Nm of torque, and promises exceptional acceleration throughout the RPM range. Certified as an Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV), this motorcycle also offers excellent fuel economy with a claimed consumption of 50 km/litre.
2. Assist and Slipper Clutch: A significant addition is the assist and slipper clutch which prevents rear tyre slippage and allows for smoother gear changes, especially during aggressive downshifts or braking. Benefits include better control, smoother shifting, and reduced wear and tear on the bike’s components. 
3. Honda Smart Key System: The advanced Smart Key system offers keyless ignition and handlebar lock functionality, as well as an anti-theft alarm and answer back system, significantly boosting security. You can simply turn the ignition, push the start button and ride off, no longer needing to fumble with taking a key out. 

   

   

   

4. USB Charging Port: A convenient, waterproofed USB charging port allows you to charge your phones and devices on the go.
5. Aggressive Sports Styling: The RS-X Winner sports an even more masculine design than its predecessor, with continuous sharp lines creating an agile and aerodynamic image.
6. Separate Handle Switch Design: For improved rider safety, the bike features separate handle switches for intuitive and precise control of functions like headlights, turn signals, and the horn.
7. Sport Design Cast Wheel: New 17″ sportier cast wheels complement the bike’s aggressive design. These lightweight but strong wheels contribute to better stability and predictability at higher speeds. 

   

   

   

   

   

   

The all-new Honda RS-X Winner is priced at RM9,998 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration) for the standard colours i.e. Blue, Green, and Matte Gray. A special Yellow variant is also available at  RM10,298 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration). The bike comes with a 2-year (or 20,000 km, whichever comes first) warranty.
