Art Of Speed 2024 Returns To MAEPS With Exciting New Highlights
Malaysia’s biggest annual Kustom & Counter Culture event, Art of Speed 2024 (AOS 2024), is returning to the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS). The event will be held on 27 and 28 July 2024 (10 AM to 7 PM). This year, AOS 2024 promises a weekend filled with activities and exhibits for fans and visitors.
The event will feature a guest list from the international custom community, including Shige Suganuma, Shinotsuka “NATQQ” Michihisa, and Hey Murakamii from MOONEYES, Japan. Professional Japanese drifter Daigo Saito will also be in attendance, showcasing his drift cars, including his drift-spec Lamborghini Murcielago. Katie’s Customs from Japan will also be there to present a custom Vincent Black Shadow bike, while STOOP Motorcycles’ Masato Ikemori will showcase his Harley-Davidson Panhead. Other attendees include Minato Yamamoto from EVILACT, Nigel Petrie from Engineered To Slide, and Tengku Djan Ley Tengku Mahaleel, our Prince of Drift.
New highlights for AOS 2024 include the SoundCircus Takeover which will move indoors to Hall A (*parents will need to supervise their children and teenagers who are attending), with performances from bands like Spider and Gerhana Ska Cinta. The event will also see collaborations with Selangor FC for the “Stop The Violence” campaign, a Community Moto4sale for motorcycles below 500 cc, and an AOS Invitational Build-Off featuring 10 bike builders competing for a cash prize and a chance to showcase their custom vehicles in Japan.
Meanwhile, the 2nd Official Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Malaysia will return to Hall C, offering various activities including a Hot Wheels Custom Competition. The ThunderCircus “Brotherhood Rally” will feature a dedicated area for motorcycle riders and enthusiasts. NEAT Fest will showcase modified cars from local, Japanese, European, and supercars categories. Off The Grid will provide an indoor environment for families to enjoy outdoor lifestyle exhibits. Hail Vintage and Streetware Con will feature thrift and streetwear fashion, along with entertainment from the Backdoor Soundsystem Collective.
Christopher Ng from Motoqar will be hosting the annual Kustom & Koffee Talk inside Hall A, discussing the latest trends in the bike and car industries with overseas panelists. The Show & Shine event will showcase the best selection of modified cars and custom motorcycles, with a Best of Show winner receiving a trip to the Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show in December 2024.
Additional activities include the Roda Rumble 2024, a Two Wheels Gathering supported by Retro Mania, and La Cultura, a Chicano Culture Appreciation Gathering. The Food Park will be outdoors, offering a variety of food vendors and trucks. There will also be an automotive flea market, product launches, and a Test Ride Zone for various bike brands.
Further, a special collaboration between AOS and QARTEL TV will offer a modified Honda as a lucky draw giveaway on Sunday. The AOS 2024 weekend pass is available for RM35 at the door or online (excludes RM3 processing fee), with free entry for children below 12 years old, and disabled (OKU) pass holders. New also for 2024 is the Valet VIP Parking Ticket (RM30) which allows you to park at Ground Level in Hall D for one-day entry.
