Jaecoo J7 Opens For Registration Of Interest; Estimated Price Starts From RM150k

The Jaecoo J7 will officially start accepting registration of interest tomorrow (10 April 2024). This newcomer to the off-road SUV landscape is all for revolutionising the segment with its affordable yet premium offering. The JAECOO Premier Experience roadshow will open tomorrow at 1Utama Shopping Centre (Level LG, Highstreet) for everyone to see the SUV up close as well as register your interest. Alternatively, you can do the same in the official JAECOO Malaysia website. 

“The public’s consistent interest in anticipation of the J7, following two successful roadshows, has been very encouraging that we are so excited to begin accepting registration of interest. We believe Jaecoo Malaysia is bringing diversity to the SUV market, especially with the J7 being a strong challenger in the C-segment SUV market, which consumers in Malaysia appreciate. Jaecoo, a premium off-road SUV brand debuting in Malaysia this year, symbolises the seamless fusion of attainable luxury and rugged functionality for the discerning adventurer. Rooted in over a decade of automotive expertise, Jaecoo embodies the ethos of “From Classic, Beyond Classic,” integrating design mastery from teams in the UK, Germany, and other countries.

Jaecoo Malaysia has previously teased the estimated price range for the J7 at below RM200,000. However it is now revealed that its inaugural line-up, comprising 2 variants i.e. Jaecoo J7 two-wheel-drive (2WD) and Jaecoo J7 All-Wheel Drive (AWD) will come with retail prices of around RM150,000 and RM160,000 respectively. There will be a choice of 4 exterior colours available i.e. Moonlight Silver, Carbon Crystal Black, Khaki White, and Model Green.

Based on the interest received, vehicle deliveries to customers are slated to commence in the 3rd quarter of 2024. Prospective buyers eager for a first-hand experience can look out for test drive opportunities beginning in May.
