SDS Food Manufacturing Takes Delivery Of Hino 200 Series Fleet
SDS Food Manufacturing Sdn Bhd has recently taken delivery of a fleet of 24 Hino 200 Series trucks as part of its fleet expansion plan. SDS Food Manufacturing is the retail subsidiary of Johor-based SDS Group Bhd which also has Top Baker and Daily’s Bakery that supplies bakery products e.g. bread, nationwide.
SDS Food Manufacturing offers a variety of confectionery, including bread, pastries, cakes, and more. Known for its quality and excellent customer service, the business has been a staple in Johor since 1987. It had also opened a new factory in Seremban to expand its confectionery offerings and coverage. Its “Share, Dine, Smile” motto reflects its commitment to providing a unique dining experience for customers. Additionally, its cafes also provide Western and local cuisine along with a selection of beverages. SDS Food Manufacturing is also an all-in-one store for festive cookies, hampers, and mooncakes, as well as baby full month and wedding gift sets.
The decision by SDS Food Manufacturing to enlarge its fleet is to cater to the additional transportation requirements due to business growth. The company chose to go with Hino trucks due to Hino’s reputation for quality products which are reliable, as well as Hino’s commitment to comprehensive support and understanding of SDS’s needs. 
The Hino 200 Series trucks have a low-height and compact design enabling easy manoeuvring through crowded streets in the city. These trucks are engineered to easily navigate tight spaces and are also fuel-efficient, making them an ideal choice for the company’s transportation requirements.
Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd Managing Director, Hiroshi Takahashi, along with authorised dealer Auto Skyline Sdn Bhd’s Managing Director, Beck Kuang Chiaw, and Executive Director, Beck Da Wei, handed over the Hino 200 Series trucks to SDS Group Executive Director, Tan Kim Chai, and SDS Group Regional Manager, Cheng Choong Kwang, at the SDS premise in Skudai. 
SDS Food Manufacturing had also signed up for the Hino Membership Premium Plus that offers an extended warranty of up to 7 years on unlimited mileage, with free brake pad or lining replacement every 60,000 km and above, as well as towing service support (up to RM500) once a year.
In addition, SDS Food Manufacturing is partnering with HMSM to enhance its drivers’ skills to improve safety and fuel efficiency. The company has also enrolled its fleet supervisors for training at the Hino Total Support Customer Centre (HTSCC) in Sendayan.
Hino is also committed to support its customers in aftersales services via its nationwide network to ensure their fleets operate smoothly and reliably.
