Chery Owners Club (WCWL) Officially Launched In Malaysia

Chery Malaysia has announced the launch of the official Chery Owners Club in Malaysia. Named “With Chery With Love” (WCWL), this is an initiative driven by the global vision of Chery International to bring together owners of the brand’s products. WCWL_Chery Owners Club Malaysia

The WCWL initiative focuses on bringing the brand closer to its customers to promote trust and confidence in the brand. Through this it helps offer improved accessibility, personalisation, and enhanced customer experiences to a close-knit community. The initiative is founded on the principle of connecting with customers on a deeper level, ensuring that their needs and requirements are fulfilled. Chery as a brand, globally and locally, aims to create a strong community among the owners to connect, share experiences, and support. “The very essence of WCWL is embedded in its name – “With Chery With Love.” This is more than just a tagline; it’s a commitment that Chery Malaysia makes to you, our car owners, Our purpose is simple yet profound: we want you to feel not just like car owners but as part of the Chery family,” said Ms. Celeste Lim, Senior Manager of PR, Branding & Marketing. Present at the launch of WCWL was Datuk Wira Dr. Lee Chong Wei, who also had bought a Chery Omoda 5.

At the same period, Chery is hosting the Chery International Ecology User Summit in Wuhu, China. At this summit, Chery had put a charitable initiative in place with the signing of agreements with the UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund) and the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). Chery will work together with these parties to provide aids such as food, clean water, health, and education for children in impoverished countries and regions. Simultaneously, they will offer nature-based solutions for the protection of global forests, oceans, wetlands, and wildlife, embodying the “Public Welfare Chery” initiative and fulfilling the responsibility and commitment to global green sustainable development.

Over the past 26 years, Chery had been implementing its green concept to be more sustainable. Emphasis was placed on pollution prevention, energy conservation, and clean production, with green manufacturing leading the way. This has allowed Chery to progress and become a global player.

In its homeground of Wuhu, Chery had launched a global public welfare initiative, joining hands with various stakeholders in the city to promote environmental protection. With the aid of advanced green technology, Chery wants to assist in the steady economic development of the city and the continued improvement of the environment, co-building a green and ecologically sustainable city.
