Transcargo Worldwide Expands Fleet With Hino 300 & 500 Trucks
Integrated logistics company, Transcargo Worldwide (M) Sdn Bhd, has expanded its fleet with Hino trucks. The company recently took delivery of 10 units of the Hino 300 Series PRO and 7 units of the 500 Series. Hosted by Truck Solutions Sdn Bhd, a Hino authorised 3S dealer in Port Klang, the handover was done at Truck Solutions’ premises in West Port, where Truck Solutions Executive Director, Edward Tan Kim Siong and Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd Managing Director, Atsushi Uchiyama presented them to Transcargo Worldwide Directors, Ong Chin Kian and Ong Chin Keong. 
Incorporated in 2007, Transcargo Worldwide focuses on air freight, sea freight, customs brokerage, warehousing and distribution, inland and cross-border transportation, e-commerce logistics, and value-added services. Its services cover the gateways of Malaysia including Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Penang Airport and Seaport, Klang Port, Pasir Gudang Port, Tanjung Pelepas Port, and borders of Malaysia with Singapore and Thailand.
The fleet expansion by Transcargo Worldwide is in line with its business expansion. Hino’s known quality and reliability are factors Transcargo considered when purchasing the trucks. The company also revealed that Hino impressed on them especially in the early stages in the truck trials, technical support, and needs assessment, applying its best Total Support philosophy. Moreover, Hino has an established network nationwide which provides convenient service, maintenance and aftersales support. 
Transcargo also had the Hino Connect telematics system installed in the new trucks to further optimise operating efficiency, besides protecting the truck and driver. The truck’s information can be accessed via the myHINO mobile application enabling owners to plan more efficiently and maximise revenue.
Additionally, Transcargo also signed up for the Hino Membership Premium Plus to enhance the aftersales services. The Hino Membership Premium Plus will give Transcargo an extended warranty of up to 7 years (unlimited mileage), and free brake lining replacement every 60,000 km and above, as well towing service support of up to RM500 once a year. Customers who sign up for the Hino Membership Programme will also enjoy special promotions.
As a value-added service to its customers, Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd also provides skill improvements at its Hino Total Support Customer Centre (HTSCC) in Sendayan. Through training, drivers will be more familiar with the trucks and operate them safely and more efficiently.
