UMW Toyota Motor Opens Order Book For All-New Toyota Alphard And Vellfire

UMW Toyota Motor has announced that it is accepting bookings for the all-new Toyota Alphard and Vellfire. Launched in late June 2023 in Japan, it will be officially offered here in the guise of Toyota Alphard 2.4T Executive Lounge and Toyota Vellfire 2.5 variants which come with upgraded powertrains and advanced luxury features.

The all-new Toyota Alphard 2.4T Executive Lounge features the all-new 2.4L 16-valve DOHC engine with turbocharger and intercooler paired with a Direct Shift 8-speed Automatic with Sequential and Paddle Shifters tuned to deliver stronger torque and more powerful acceleration.

Meanwhile, the Vellfire features a 7-speed Super CVT-i with Sports Sequential Shiftmatic and is equipped with a Front Performance Brace that provides efficient power transmission for smoother acceleration, while ensuring superb handling and excellent stability performance.

Not escaping its boxy profile, the Alphard and Vellfire features a sleeker new design, with distinctive grille and full LED headlamps with sequential turn signals at both the front and rear.

The cabins of the Alphard and Vellfire are now even more luxurious with premium leather and woodgrain, with a fixed Panoramic Glass Roof that bathes the cabin in natural lighting. The shell interior gives an airy and spacious ambience which feels like being in a luxurious hotel or in a private jet. Further, a 64-colour illumination along the side of the ceiling also adds to the classy environment inside. They are also equipped with adjustable reading lights to ensure maximum convenience and comfort.

The driver’s area is akin to a private jet’s cockpit with all switches and control buttons positioned optimally for easy reach. Similarly, the instrument panel is of a high-quality design with the 12.3″ full colour TFT digital combination meter paired with a new head-up display that are now sharper and clearer in all lighting conditions.

For a luxurious and comfortable seating experience, both front and rear first row seats are fitted with cooling and heating functions. Additionally, the Alphard 2.4T Executive Lounge’s rear first row seats feature an exclusive massage function. There will also be the world’s first Hybrid Long Slide of up to 480 mm for the first row rear seats of the Alphard (powered and manual) and Vellfire (manual only). The Alphard and Vellfire seats are also fitted with an Anti-Vibration Structure which reduces the feel of impact during the drive, especially on bumpy and uneven roads, for a more comfortable driving experience.

On the safety side, both the Alphard and Vellfire are equipped with class-leading Toyota Safety Sense and technology. Among them are enhanced Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), newly featured Road Sign Assist (RSA), and Adaptive High-beam System (AHS).

The Toyota Alphard and Vellfire will be available in 4 body colours i.e. Platinum White Pearl, Precious Metal, Precious Leo-Blond (Alphard only) and Black. It is now open for booking at all authorised Toyota showrooms nationwide.
