Ital Auto Is New Authorised Ferrari Importer For Malaysia
Ferrari S.p.A. has announced the appointment of Ital Auto Malaysia as the Authorised Ferrari Importer for Malaysia. This new partnership took effect on 5 May 2023. Ital Auto Malaysia is a subsidiary of Ital Auto Pte Ltd, which has been the Authorised Ferrari Importer for Singapore since 2009.
Ital Auto Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of Komoco Holdings Pte Ltd, a regional automotive group based in Singapore. It also owns a Ferrari dealership in Shanghai, China i.e. Ital Automotive. Komoco Holdings is also involved in luxury lifestyle, retail, hospitality and f&b businesses. With this wide group network and experience, Ital Auto Malaysia will be able to tap into this and enhance the ownership experience for Ferrari owners in Malaysia.
With this new partnership in effect, Ital Auto Malaysia and former importer, Naza Italia Sdn Bhd, have effected a transfer of assets related to the Ferrari franchise here. To ensure a smooth transition for Ferrari’s clients, Ital Auto Malaysia has taken over all of Naza Italia’s existing client deposits as well as bookings for Ferrari vehicles. The entire operational Ferrari Malaysia team under Naza Italia has been transferred to Ital Auto to ensure business continuity and minimal disruptions for Ferrari owners.
Ital Auto Malaysia is currently setting up an interim service facility in Glenmarie. It is expected to be ready to provide aftersales services to Ferrari clients by next month (June 2023). Additionally, it will be establishing an interim city showroom in the retail podium of Four Seasons Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The showroom is expected to be ready in August 2023. These are temporary facilities while waiting for a new flagship Ferrari 3S centre to officially open its doors in the first quarter of 2025. The new flagship outlet will feature Ferrari’s exacting corporate identity.
