WTC Automotif Hands Over GAC GS3 Fleet To Mayflower Car Rental
WTC Automotif Sdn Bhd (WTCA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Warisan TC Holdings Bhd, has handed over a fleet of new GAC GS3 SUVs to Mayflower Car Rental Sdn Bhd. WTCA is the exclusive and sole distributor of GAC Motor vehicles in Malaysia.
Mayflower is a total travel service specialist and transportation solutions provider. It is a pioneer in the car rental business and the first to introduce luxurious air-conditioned coaches in Malaysia. It currently offers a diverse range of products and services for individuals and corporations on leisure and business travel e.g. rental, leasing, and chauffeured rides. The company owns one of the largest vehicle fleets in the country, with over 2,800 vehicles made up of sedans, SUVs, MPVs, vans and coaches. Mayflower had acquired 50 units of GAC GS3s from WTCA to add to its fleet.

Mayflower also took the opportunity to introduce the “All-New Adventure GAC Motor GS3 Programme” which is a competitive car leasing programme to meet diverse market demands. This programme gives the public more opportunities to experience and enjoy the practicality and capability of the GS3. From now until 31 December 2023, Mayflower is offering the GS3 at a promotional rate from RM150 per day (subject to sales & service tax; terms & conditions apply), down from the regular published rate of RM270 per day.
This GAC GS3 is powered by a 1.5L D-CVVT engine which sends an output of 114 PS @ 6,000 rpm and 150 Nm @ 4,500 Nm to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox from Aisin (with manual shift function). It runs on 17″ tyres and has an official fuel consumption of 7 litres per 100 km. This 5-seater SUV has a wheelbase of 2,560 mm and is 4,358 mm long, 1,825 mm wide, and 1,660 mm tall (1,685 mm if counting the roof rails), giving it a B-segment SUV’s dimensions but with a width similar to a C-segment’s thus allowing for more comfortable seating in the rear seats.
