Other features include a 43 mm Upside Down (USD) front suspension complemented by a single Nitrox monoshock at the rear, and a twin-barrel exhaust system for a throatier exhaust note. The Modenas Dominar D400 also features 320 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brakes paired to a dual channel Anti-lock Braking System.

The Modenas Dominar D400 is available in 2 new colour options i.e. Savanna Green and Charcoal Black. The recommended retail price is RM15,797 (excluding insurance and road tax).Modenas Dominar_D400_D250_Rear

Meanwhile, the Dominar D250 is the little brother of the D400. It may have a smaller numerical value as suffix but its dimensions are identical to the Dominar D400, as is its design. Body panels such as the front mudguard, headlamp, fuel tank capacity, dual-barrel exhaust muffler and others are like its bigger brother, though it may differ in the touring accessories.

The Dominar D250 uses a dual-spark head, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 249 cc DOHC FI engine which produces 19.9 kW @ 8,500 rpm and 23.5 Nm of torque @ 6,500 rpm. The 6-speed gearbox is slick and comes equipped with a slipper clutch as standard.

This 250 cc adventure touring motorcycle may be down on engine size, but it promises to offer the same long-distance touring ability and comfort that the Modenas Dominar D400 is known for. The Modenas Dominar D250 also shares its ergonomics with the Dominar D400, giving it similar riding dynamics.

The biggest difference between the 2, other than the new engine, is the new 37 mm USD front suspension fork that the D250 has. Aside from that, the aluminium swing-arm has also been replaced with a conventional box-section type unit. Weighing in at 180 kg, the Dominar D250 is 7 kg lighter than the D400 which means it is also more agile than the D400.

The Modenas D250 is available in 3 new colour schemes i.e. Sparkling Black, Racing Red and Citrus Rush. It comes with a retail price of RM13,797 (excluding insurance and road tax).
