Sime Darby Motors Delivers 1,000 BYD ATTO 3 In 100 Days

It looks like Sime Darby Motors is off to a great start with the BYD brand which is new to Malaysia. The company had set a record-breaking feat by delivering 1,000 cars in 100 days. To mark this special milestone, Sime Darby Motors held a special gathering at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium carpark to celebrate with the first 1,000 BYD ATTO 3 EV owners. “This celebration marks a milestone in Malaysia’s electric vehicle (EV) market, setting a precedent that reflects the increasing popularity and acceptance of EV in the country. The BYD ATTO 3 is available in 2 variants i.e. Standard Range (priced at RM149,800) and Extended Range (RM167,800) and with a choice of 5 exterior colours i.e. Surf Blue, Parkour Red, Boulder Grey, Forest Green and Ski White. The ATTO 3 Standard Range has a 49.92 kWh BYD Blade battery while the Extended Range uses a 60.48 kWh unit, to give a driving range of up to 410 km and 480 km respectively. Both variants’ batteries have the VtoL (Vehicle-to-Load) mobile power supply function so you can use the ATTO 3 to power devices or household appliances.BYD ATTO 3_Malaysia

Built on BYD’s advanced e-platform 3.0, its dimensions are 4,455 mm (length), 1,875 mm (width) and 1,615 mm (height), with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm and boot capacity of 440 litres.

Notable features include a panoramic sunroof, 12.8″ rotating touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, satellite navigation (3 years of free updates), 5″ digital instrument display, USB Type C and USB-A charging ports, and climate control with air filter. Just 6 kilometers away from the Gurney showroom is the BYD aftersales service centre in Sungai Pinang. This service centre has a built-up area of 20,000 sq ft and provides vehicle maintenance, wear and tear repairs, as well as body and paint services, and other aftersales needs.
