Goodyear Assurance ComfortTred Tyre Launched – 16″ – 19″ Sizes Available
Goodyear Malaysia has launched its latest tyre i.e. Goodyear Assurance ComfortTred earlier today at the start of the Velocity Motor Show in Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC). The Assurance ComfortTred is an expansion of its Assurance range targeted at the premium / luxury passenger vehicles segment. 
The Goodyear Assurance ComfortTred boasts a combination of innovative and advanced technology and sophisticated tread pattern to redefine the premium driving experience and quietness. The tyre incorporates Goodyear’s ANX (Advanced Noise Cancellation) technology which uses an extra layer of noise and vibration cancelling compound within the tyre construction to insulate against rolling noise.
Furthermore, the closed pattern design helps to reduce air pumping noise through the treads while the higher number of smaller tread blocks help to reduce rolling impact forces to further dampen noise and improve comfort.
In addition to the improved comfort and ride, the Assurance ComfortTred also features improved wet braking performance for added safety. The new generation tread compound features a high amount of silica and resin for additional traction as they provide incremental modulation to the road surface and thus give better contact with the road as well as more efficient water evacuation. Another significant improvement to the new tyre when benchmarked against its EfficientGrip Performance tyre is the longer-lasting tread wear.

The Goodyear Assurance ComfortTred tyre is available in 12 sizes at all Goodyear Autocare Centres in Malaysia, ranging from 16″ (215/55 R16) to 19″ (245/45 R19). More sizes could be available depending market demand. Goodyear Malaysia also provides assurance to its customers with a warranty plan i.e. 1-year road hazard warranty, 2x free tyre safety check, and 5-year limited warranty from date of purchase.
