Bermaz Motor has announced the availability of the 2022 Mazda3, Mazda CX-3 and Mazda CX-30 which are updated with new features and styling.

2022 Mazda3

Mazda had adopted the “less is more” attitude when designing the Mazda3 in line with its ‘Car as Art’ design philosophy, a matured take on its Kodo design. The result was an eyecatching design that creates subtle undulations of light and shadows over the car’s smooth body, crafting a natural and powerful expression of vitality.Mazda3_Sedan

Winner of the World Car Design of the Year in 2020, and the Red Dot Design: Best of the Best in 2019, the 2022 Mazda3 1.5L & 2.0L Liftback and Sedan variants have been enhanced with improved connectivity options. Both USBs located at the center console and armrest enable users to connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, to access features via the 8.8″ touchscreen display.

Further, the refreshed Mazda3 for 2022 gets additional upgrades to its technology and styling. The “Ignite Edition” is only available on the 2.0 Liftback variant and features gloss black wing mirrors and 18″ black metallic alloy wheels as standard. Meanwhile, the interior has leather upholstery in burgundy. The car also gets a 360º view monitor shown on the 8.8″ display.Mazda3_Ignite Edition_2.0

2022 Mazda CX-30

Mazda CX-30_ReflectionThe Mazda CX-30 crossover is one of the Top 3 Finalists in the 2020 World Car of the Year. For 2022, this model has been updated with 2 new “Ignite Edition” variants added to the line-up.

Like the other 2022 models, the CX-30 variants also get connectivity improvements. Both the USB ports at the center console and armrest now can connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, like the Mazda3.

The 2 new “Ignite Edition” variants added come in 2WD and AWD options. The 2 new variants feature black auto-folding wing mirrors in black and 18” alloy wheels for that sporty look. The seats are burgundy-coloured leather, while the interior trim is black. There is also a 360º view monitor to make manoeuvring easier.

The Mazda CX-30 was awarded a 5-Star Euro NCAP rating in 2019 and was one of the models to score the highest-ever mark in the adult occupancy category. The Mazda CX-30 also performed impressively in 3 other categories i.e. Child Occupant, Vulnerable Road User (pedestrian safety) and Safety Assist. The rating is a result of 3 key factors: the very latest Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture, which features a high-rigidity, impact-absorbing yet lightweight bodyshell; high standards of pedestrian protection performance; and a wide range of advanced i-Activsense safety technologies that reduce the likelihood of damage or injury.
