Daihatsu Malaysia has officially launched its e-commerce stores in Lazada and Shopee. These official stores are the company’s first move to sell online as part of its growth and diversification strategy. This digital strategy should provide Daihatsu customers a more convenient buying experience as well as help the company extend its market reach.
Learning from the effects of the pandemic and lockdowns, Daihatsu Malaysia believes in the strategic importance of an e-commerce store as the adoption of digital technologies by consumers had been sped up. It is also confident that this initiative will complement its extensive nationwide distribution network.
“This is yet another initiative from Daihatsu Malaysia, after having been the first to introduced a web-based online e-showroom for commercial vehicle segment back in 2020 when pandemic first hits. And at present, we are once again very proud to be the first one-stop e-commerce digital store offering automotive solutions comprise of Aftersales Genuine Parts, Vehicle Sales Booking and Official Merchandise Retailer Daihatsu brand in Malaysia to have an exclusive presence on both Lazada and Shopee – recognised as the leading e-commerce shopping platforms,” commented Arman Mahadi, Managing Director of Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
The Daihatsu Malaysia e-commerce stores offer an array of genuine and local certified parts (OEM), and a more extensive range of parts sought by customers will be added in the future. As the exclusive and official distributor of Daihatsu motor vehicles and its component parts in Malaysia, all parts distributed or sold by Daihatsu Malaysia are 100% authentic and guaranteed, and have passed quality checks. The parts are packed with security seals for customers’ peace-of-mind.
Daihatsu customers also have the option of getting their purchased parts professionally installed by trained technicians at selected authorised Daihatsu Malaysia service centres. This is to ensure that the parts are fitted properly to reduce disruption of the customer’s business operations. In addition, customers will entitled to a parts installation warranty of 3 months / 5,000 km, whichever comes first (terms & conditions apply). This warranty is provided since the Daihatsu Gran Max is an essential part of last-mile transport for e-commerce companies, as well as for SMEs.
Moreover, the Gran Max can now be booked via the Daihatsu Malaysia e-commerce stores at a booking fee of RM500. The Gran Max comes with a warranty of 3 years / 100,000 km, whichever comes first. The booking process is hassle-free. All you need to do is browse for your preferred Gran Max variant on Daihatsu’s official LazMall or Shopee Mall store and make the booking payment online.
You will then receive an e-coupon via push notification upon confirmation and will be contacted by Daihatsu Malaysia’s official representative to arrange for your preferred authorised Daihatsu Malaysia showroom as well as date and time for your redemption of the booking e-coupon.
Additionally, the online stores also offer the Daihatsu Lifestyle Collection line of official merchandise. This ranges from limited edition die-cast models to day-to-day essential pieces.
