Perodua Offers Assistance To Customers Affected By Floods
Perodua has come out to offer assistance to all its customers who are affected by the recent floods in the country. The assistance offered includes towing service rebates, discounts on selected spare parts and free inspections.
“Our customers are very important to us and this value-added services are provided to help relieve some of the burden our customers have to deal with during this disaster,” said Perodua President & Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad.
Parts of Selangor, Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang had experienced severe weather conditions over the last weekend that resulted in widespread flooding.
“While a few of our service centres are also affected by the floods, our customers are encouraged to refer to any of our service outlets throughout Malaysia for assistance. We are doing our best to resume our operations (at the affected areas) as quick as possible,” he added.
Perodua customers can claim towing service charges of up to a maximum of RM100 at the nearest Perodua service outlets (terms and conditions apply). Additionally, Perodua is offering 20% off selected spare parts to Perodua owners whose vehicles are damaged by the floods.
“Our genuine spare parts come with a manufacturer’s warranty and we ask our customers to not use any imitation parts as this may affect the performance of their vehicles,” said Dato’ Zainal. The parts includes all electronic items, engine gaskets, vehicle seats, door trim and carpets.
