Personalise Your BMW iX With The Online Configurator

BMW Malaysia has introduced the BMW iX configurator so that you may further personalise your EV order with the available add-on packages. The add-on packages are available to those who have already pre-booked their vehicles as well as the potential customers who are planning to book the BMW iX xDrive40 variants before 12 October 2021.

The configurator allows you to select any of the 7 unique add-on packages according to your preference. Every package is individually tailored to enhance specific aspects of the driving experience for BMW’s new all-electric Sports Activity Vehicles (SAVs). The configurator can be viewed in https://www.bmw.com.my. You can also find information on the add-on packages there.

After making your selection through the visualiser, you can contact your preferred BMW Authorised Dealer to complete the configuration.

• The Power Package
  • This package will include the BMW i Wallbox (Generation 3, Type 2) for home charging. This fast charger wallbox comes with its own power cable and delivers 11 kW of AC charging to fully charge the vehicle from 0 – 100% in 7 hours 15 mins. Also included in the package is the BMW i public fast charging cable which enables you to connect to fast charging stations at charging locations outside. This package retails for RM4,600, and will be available for both the BMW iX xDrive40 and iX xDrive 40 Sport.
• The BMW Iconic Package
  • This includes seatbelts in the BMW iBlue, as well as the BMW IconicSounds Electric feature which generates an engine sound to match the driving dynamics, thus enhancing the emotion of the sports driving experience. IconicSounds is delivered through the audio system, and is tailored to 3 driving modes i.e. Personal, Efficient and Sport. This package is priced at RM3,020 and will be available for both iX xDrive40 variants.
• The Technology Package
  • This package equips the iX with Driving Assistant Professional that includes the Steering & Lane Control Assistant, as well as the Lane Keeping Assistant to offer optimum comfort and safety. A Tyre Pressure Monitoring System is also included along with Parking Assistant Plus. These features are standard for the iX xDrive40 Sport so this is meant for buyers of the non-Sport variant. It is priced at RM15,700.
• The Design Package
  • This package is exclusive to the iX xDrive40 and includes the BMW Individual Exterior Line Titanium Bronze trim. The Titanium Bronze detail will be featured in the kidney grille graphic, lower side window graphic including exterior mirror base, door handles, model designation, as well as the front, side, and rear inserts. Further, BMW Laserlights (standard for the Sport variant) is included, with blue accents and the “BMW Laser” lettering in the headlight. This package costs RM15,740.
• The Luxury Package
  • This includes the Panorama Glass Roof Sky Lounge with liquid crystal film that becomes opaque or transparent at the touch of a button. Other features include the Headliner Anthracite, Clear & Bold Interior Applications with crystal glass switches and open-pored wood elements, as well as an 18-Speaker Harman Kardon Surround Sound System. This package is priced at RM33,490.
• The Interior Upholstery Package
  • The package includes 2 premium upholstery options for both variants. The Interior Design Suite Castanea and Interior Design Suite Amido feature exclusive olive leaf tanned natural leather in 2 exclusive colours. The package is featured on the instrument panel, door trim panels, centre console and seats to create a luxurious ambience. Metal accents in Gold Bronze, along with the elaborate quilting seams also support this elegant impression. Both options are priced at RM21,110.
