The Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line variant is now available in Malaysia. This premium SUV is a full-sized 7-seater and is assembled locally. Retail price is listed at RM475,501.23 (on the road without insurance and with sales tax exemption). After the tax exemption period, its price will be RM499,888.

Like its name indicates, this GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line wears a sporty AMG Line exterior. Its body styling includes the iconic diamond radiator grille with chrome pins, large air inlets, MULTIBEAM LED headlamps as well as 21″ AMG multi-spoke light alloy wheels.
Meanwhile, the interior blends elegant aesthetics with a progressive character. Offering a generous amount of space and luxurious detail, the cabin conveys exclusivity. The linear dashboard houses a pair of 12.3″ widescreen displays which includes a touchscreen for media that is powered by the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) NTG 6. The audio experience comes from a Burmester Surround Sound System. Other highlights in the cabin include a 64-colour ambient lighting system and anthracite open-pore oak wood trim.
The GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line is powered by a 3.0L 6-cylinder turbocharged engine with 367 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The power is transferred to the wheels by a 9-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic gearbox with the extended DYNAMIC SELECT transmission modes. The ride is buffered by the AIRMATIC air suspension package with enhanced adaptive damping system (ADS) that adjusts automatically to different driving conditions, speed and load.
Further, the GLE 450 4MATIC AMG Line is equipped with best-in-class safety and driving assistance systems, including Active Distance DISTRONIC, Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and a 360-degree camera for all-round visibility.
