Mazda CX-3 For Malaysia Receives Updates
The 2021 Mazda CX-3 compact crossover / SUV for Malaysia has received some updates to provide you with more connectivity and advanced safety features. For Model Year 2021, the Mazda CX-3 has been updated with a more modern and stylish cabin highlighting new standard features such as Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, new leatherette-fabric seats and 360° View Monitor. Other premium standard features include an Active Driving Display, a 7″ full colour touchscreen display with Mazda Connect, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio connection, and a six-speaker audio system. These features can be safely and conveniently accessed via the multi-function commander knob or steering wheel-mounted controls.
For the exterior, the updated Mazda CX-3 includes all-LED exterior lighting as standard (headlights, taillights, and daytime running lights). The LED headlights are built with automatic on/off as well as automatic levelling. Other notable kit includes a roof spoiler, shark fin antenna, dual stainless-steel exhaust outlets, and black front grille. New to the CX-3 is a powered front roof, as well as front parking sensors. This compact crossover sits on 18″ aluminium alloy wheels.
Meanwhile, the standard safety features include 6 SRS Airbags (Front Driver & Passenger, Side and Curtain), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Traction Control System (TCS), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and Hill Launch Assist (HLA). The Mazda CX-3 also comes with a suite of i-ACTIVSENSE advanced safety features, including Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Newly added advanced safety features include High Beam Control (HBC), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Driver Attention Alert (DAA), and Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) for the Front & Rear.
The 2021 Mazda CX-3 is equipped with a SKYACTIV-G 2.0 petrol engine which produces 154 hp @ 6,000 rpm and 206 Nm of torque from 2,800 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmission with Manual Shift mode to provide smooth, linear acceleration. Further, driving feel is complemented by Mazda’s G-Vectoring Control technology which helps to control body roll.
The 2021 Mazda CX-3 is imported in CBU (completely built-up) form from Japan. Retail prices start from RM130,729 (on-the-road without insurance; private registration in Pen. Malaysia), inclusive of the sales tax reduction for new imported vehicles (valid until 30 June 2021).
Exterior colour choices are Soul Red Crystal, Snowflake White Pearl, Deep Crystal Blue, Machine Gray, and the newly added Polymetal Gray. The CX-3 comes with a 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty + 5-Years Free Maintenance, according to manufacturer’s standards, and includes labour, parts and lubricants. Both Manufacturer Warranty and Free Maintenance have a coverage period of five years and a mileage limit of 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
The 2021 Mazda CX-3 is now open for booking and will be arriving in July 2021. Customers who place their booking from now until 30th June 2021 will be entitled to the SST exemption price before the model arrives in Malaysia.
