Subaru Forester GT Lite Edition Now In Malaysia
The Subaru Forester GT Lite Edition has been introduced in Malaysia by the exclusive distributor, TC Subaru Sdn Bhd. Based off the Subaru Forester 2.0i-L, this Forester GT Lite Edition is priced at RM163,788 (on-the-road without insurance for private registration in Peninsular Malaysia).
The Subaru Forester GT Lite Edition is aimed at drivers who want a sportier and more rugged appearance in SUV form, with the benefits of all-wheel-drive. The Forester GT Lite Edition offers add-ons such as the GT Full Body Kit and the GT Exhaust Cutter.
It also gets features like the 360° Around View Monitor System which enables you to park and manoeuvre with ease, as well as an 8″ Display Audio System from which to view the manouvering from.
The Forester GT Lite Edition comes with the three default Subaru Core Technologies i.e. Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Boxer Engine and the Subaru Global Platform. This SUV comes with more than 100 safety features including seven airbags, ring-shaped reinforcement frame, X-Mode, auto-retracting safety pedals and 220 mm ground clearance that is appropriate for our road and weather conditions. The base Forester has an approach angle of 20.2°, a departure angle of 25.8° and a break-over angle of 21.5°, giving it the capability of handling challenging terrain. However, expect a little compromise after the body kit is included.
The 2.0L 4-cylinder boxer engine has 156 PS and 196 Nm of torque, tuned with fuel efficiency in mind. The power is transferred by a 7-speed Lineartronic continuously variable transmission (CVT) with manual mode.

The Subaru Forester GT Lite Edition comes with a choice of seven body colours i.e. Crystal White Pearl, Ice Silver Metallic, Jasper Green Metallic, Horizon Blue Pearl, Sepia Bronze Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic and Crystal Black Silica.
