MBM Resources Berhad Appoints Muhammad Fateh As New President And CEO
MBM Resources Berhad has appointed En. Muhammad Fateh Teh Abdullah as its new President and CEO, effective 8 February 2021. MBMR is not a name commonly mentioned on the automotive consumer level but the company has interests in several automotive brands, namely Perodua, Volkswagen, Volvo, Hino and Daihatsu, as well as in automotive parts manufacturing.
En. Fateh, 50, started his career at the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers and moved on to join various automotive groups such as UMW Holdings Group of Companies, Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd and Hicom Holdings Berhad. During En. Fateh’s 23 years’ experience in the automotive industry, he has gained diverse experience in sales and marketing, distribution, strategic planning and business development.
Further, En. Fateh was the Head of Automotive Distribution Division of Hicom Holdings Berhad, the holding company of DRB-Hicom prior to his joining MBM Resources Berhad.

En. Fateh has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the International Islamic University in 1994. With this appointment of En. Muhammad Fateh as the new President & CEO of the Group, Ms Annie Chin will cease to be the Acting President & CEO of the Group and will resume her position as the Group’s Chief Financial Officer.
