Shell Malaysia Rewards Customers With Up To 4X BonusLink Points

Shell Malaysia and BonusLink are running the ‘Ekstra Ganjaran Setiap Hari’ campaign that rewards loyal customers with up to 4X BonusLink Points for fuels purchases. The campaign begins on 16 November 2020 and will end on 30 April 2021.

This campaign allows Shell customers to accumulate BonusLink Points faster than before. The mechanism is based on the principle of tiered rewards where the more purchases one makes in a month, the higher the points tier. Hence the better the rewards.

At a time of unprecedented economic uncertainty, we’ve had to rethink our loyalty programme offerings to ensure we continue to stand behind all our customers and provide them the best value. Our partnership with BonusLink has helped us turn every journey into a rewarding one by giving customers up to 4X Points whenever they refuel at Shell, and at the same time they can also redeem a wide range of snacks and drinks from our stores from only one hundred (100) Points. We hope customers will take this opportunity to get rewarded at Shell so they can go well on their journeys,” said Shairan Huzani Husain, Managing Director of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd and Shell Timur Sdn Bhd.

Participation is simply by pumping fuel and swiping your BonusLink card at the pump. Spending a minimum of RM50 of Shell FuelSave 95, Shell V-Power 97, or Shell V-Power Racing fuels in a single receipt gives you a “Qualifying Transaction”. You will earn extra BonusLink Points* for each Qualifying Transaction according to the points multiplier at each points tier. You will also be upgraded to a higher points tier if you accumulate a certain number of Qualifying Transactions in a month.

As an example, a customer who makes a Qualifying Transaction while at Tier 2, will enjoy 2X Points for that transaction and they will be upgraded to Tier 3 if they make more than two transactions that month. Meanwhile, a customer at Tier 4 will enjoy 4X points for Qualifying Transactions made at that tier. All customers’ points tiers will be reset back to Tier 1 on the 1st  day of January, February, March, and April 2021 respectively. This is illustrated in the table below:

With the points collected, you can redeem special treats in-store for as low as 100 BonusLink Points. These include popular favourites such as a 240ml Milo Original canned drink, all four flavours of the Roller Coaster 60g snack, Mighty White Smoky BBQ Bun*, and SELECT Antibacterial Wipes (15’s) *, among others.
