Sime Darby Auto Performance Celebrates 10 Years With Porsche

Sime Darby Auto Performance Sdn Bhd (SDAP) is celebrating 10 years with Porsche this year. Established in 2010, the sole authorised importer and distributor of Porsche vehicles and parts has enjoyed a decade of bringing the German sports car brand and its passion to Malaysia. In the past decade, SDAP held over 36 model launches and 50 driving experience programmes and track days to fuel the sportscar fascination.

“We can’t help but feel a little nostalgic on all the Porsche moments we’ve created with our supporters and enthusiasts throughout the decade. From modest beginnings and only one Porsche Centre in Glenmarie at our inception, we’ve invested substantially to continue to grow our dealer network in major cities across the northern, central and southern region to bring new levels of quality customer and ownership experience. Starting from our very first local launch with the second generation Cayenne to the recent 718 Cayman GT4 and 718 Spyder launch, we hope to continue to achieve greater heights of sports car fascination and evolve the brand in the country even more with our iconic sports cars,” commented Christopher Hunter, Chief Executive Officer of SDAP on this momentous occasion.

SDAP started with the lone Porsche Centre in Glenmarie and has steadily increased its presence in the country. Over the years, it added the Porsche Centre Sungai Besi and Porsche Centre Penang. There is also the new flagship Porsche Centre Ara Damansara, while Porsche Centre Johor Bahru is scheduled to commence operations next year.

Aiming to bring the total customer experience to a new level, SDAP is constantly offering more dynamic driving experiences, upgrading its state-of-the art facilities to match its world-class Porsche products, and even further professionalisation of the Porsche Pre-Owned and Porsche Approved programmes.

All you have to do is visit any Porsche Centre in Malaysia, take your most creative selfie with a Porsche vehicle in the showroom and add your most creative congratulatory wish to SDAP for its 10th anniversary. You will stand a chance to win ‘911 GT edition’ 1:18 diecast models from Porsche Driver’s Selection.
