New PROTON 3S Outlet Officially Opened In Bandar Bukit Puchong
A new PROTON 3S outlet has been officially opened in Bandar Bukit Puchong. Operated by Lesydear Automobile Sdn Bhd, this dealership is easily accessible via the LDP (Lebuhraya Damansara – Puchong) and aims to serve residents and PROTON owners in the surrounding areas.
Lesydear had invested RM2.5 million to build this new outlet which houses six service bays and four hoists and can accommodate up to five display cars in the showroom. Amenities such as a coffee bar, device charging ports and free WiFi are provided for customers’ comfort and convenience.
With this 3S outlet, customers in Puchong and its surrounding area can have access to sales, service and spare parts in a convenient location.
PROTON currently has the largest number of 3S & 4S centres nationwide with a total of 120. “Aside from good product offerings, the strength of a company lies in its network. It is this reason that PROTON has placed a lot of focus on network development and upgrading of its outlets. It is important because it serves as the main contact point between customers and us. Today, we are proud to say that, as a result of this, customers are looking more favourably to the PROTON brand as a purchase choice. We sold 100,821 cars in 2019, and ranked second in the sales table nationwide, a position we have maintained since April 2019‘’, said Dato’ Radzaif Mohamed, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PROTON.
“The adoption of technology to make our lives better is something that we must embrace. It is crucial that we adapt quickly in order to reap and capitalise on the benefits of the digital age, as well as for our country to remain competitive and relevant in this sector. With an embedded eSIM card that allows connectivity to a 4G LTE network, the X70 epitomises modern automotive technology. I can see why the X70 has been so popular, and I am pleased to see that our national carmaker has seen a revival in its fortunes. I believe that it is possible for PROTON to achieve its goal to be one of the top three carmakers in South-east Asia by 2027,” said Yang Berhormat Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Communications and Multimedia who officiated the event. Also present for the ceremony was Yang Berhormat Ng Sze Han, the Selangor State Exco for Local Government, Public Transportation and New Village Development, as well as PROTON management and staff.
For Billy Koh Beng Teck, Director of Lesydear Automobile Sdn Bhd, joining PROTON represents a huge opportunity. “We are proud to be part of the PROTON family. It has given us a platform to offer our customers great products and a superior ownership experience”.
“We are all proud of PROTON and its achievements. After all it’s my official car,” quipped YB Gobind Singh.
