Volkswagen Deals Include Exclusive Rebates for Golf GTI and Golf R

Kuala Lumpur, 12th September 2019 – Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is continuing the Merdeka celebrations by giving exclusive RM2,000 rebates on the two hottest performance hatches in town – the VW Golf GTI and Golf R.

To recap, the Golf GTI features a new 2.0TSI turbocharged engine paired with a 6-speed wet clutch direct shift gearbox (DSG), with an impressive output of 230PS and 350Nm of torque. Its 2.0TSI turbocharged engine is tuned for 290PS and 380 Nm of torque, and is matched with a 7-speed wet clutch direct shift gearbox (DSG) which gives it the ability to go from 0 to 100km/h in 5.1 seconds. The 4MOTION all-wheel drive system delivers a dynamic driving experience that is second to none.

Further marking its identity is its R ‘Vienna’ perforated leather seats and 19-inch Pretoria alloy wheels, 12.3-inch Active Info Display, 9.2-inch Discover Pro with App-Connect and Gesture Control, LED headlights with Dynamic Cornering Lights, LED tail lights with Dynamic Indicators as well as progressive steering.
