Volvo Car Malaysia Officially Opens New 3S Centre In Mutiara Damansara
In July, Volvo Car Malaysia had announced the appointment of Ingress Swede Automobile Sdn Bhd as its new dealer-partner, and today, Ingress Swede’s new Volvo 3S Centre was officially opened. Strategically located in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, in an area with the presence of other premium brands, Volvo Car Malaysia is taking advantage of its growth momentum to continuing strengthening its brand presence. Earlier in the month, it had launched a new 3S Centre in Johor.
The company’s new transformation strategy which focuses on retail network expansion to drive sales growth has lined up an additional three locations that is expected to open within this year; Volvo currently has 12 showrooms nationwide.
“In the premium segment, the product is not the sole factor in the consumer’s purchase decision. What’s equally important is the value, quality, and accessibility of services that they can enjoy throughout their journey with the brand,” said Mr Nalin Jain, Managing Director of Volvo Car Malaysia.
Volvo Cars Mutiara Damansara features a showroom and service centre that is built in accordance to Volvo Cars’ latest retail standard i.e. the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE), which communicates the brand’s Scandinavian-inspired values and heritage.
Mr Jain is driving the second phase of Volvo Car Malaysia’s transformation effort that aims to not only refresh the brand’s retail presence, but also to overhaul its existing processes, technologies and human resource.
“We are looking at incorporating technologies and processes that add value to our customers’ lives – like our cars, everything we do must add meaning to the experiences of our customers – that is how we would like to impress them,” adds Mr Jain.
Mr Mohd Azeman Mohamed Akram Ab Rahman, Dealer Principal of Ingress Swede commented: “Owing to our extensive experience within the premium automotive sector, we are confident in delivering the brand experience that is expected by Volvo Cars’ customers.”
In the first half of 2019, Volvo Car Malaysia achieved over 60% year-on-year growth compared to the same period last year. The company expects this positive trend to continue, supplemented by new products in the pipeline. Malaysia is Volvo Cars’ assembly hub for ASEAN; it exports about half of its production to neighbouring countries.
The Volvo Car Mutiara Damansara showroom is open from 8 am – 6 pm, Mondays to Saturdays; and from 10 am – 4 pm on Sundays and public holidays.
