Volvo Car Malaysia Appoints Nalin Jain As New Managing Director
Volvo Cars Malaysia has appointed Mr Nalin Jain as its new Managing Director, officially beginning his role on 1 March, 2019.
Mr Jain takes over from Mr Lennart Stegland who will retire from the company. Mr Stegland has been with Volvo Cars for 40 years, leading positions in Research and Development, Marketing and Sales, and Managing various National Sales Companies.
Prior to taking on this role, Mr Jain was the Chief Financial Officer of Volvo Auto India and has over 20 years’ experience in the automotive, consulting, and technology fields. Mr Jain holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from State University of New York and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management in MIT.
The company thanks Mr Stegland for his extraordinary contribution and dedication to the company; his wealth of knowledge and experience will be sorely missed.
