Mpire Group Launches 2 Foton Vans and 3S Centre in Klang Valley
Glenmarie, 15 December 2018 – Mpire Asia Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Foton, launched two vans, the View C2 Panel van and the View CS2 18-seater van in conjunction with the launch of its 3S centre in Jalan Pemberita U1/49, Temasya Industrial Park today.
The launch was graced by the Malaysia Special Envoy to China, YB Tan Kok Wai. Managing Director of Mpire Group, Dato Billy Goh said, “It is evident that as a market leader in Mainland China, one of the world’s most sought out and competitive markets, Foton is poised to produce world-class vehicles relevant for the highly demanding Chinese consumers. Therefore, I am confident that the export vehicles by Foton brought into Malaysia are guaranteed to meet the high standards of features, quality and fuel efficiencies that will be highly sought after by Malaysian buyers.”
The opening of the 3S centre in the Temasya area will certainly put Foton on the map for at least the Klang Valley users, who will now have a service facility easily accessible. In addition, Mpire has formed a collaboration with 15 service dealers nation-wide to cover service and spares facilities for Foton users, with another 15 slotted to be included by the end of 2019. Mpire also launched its toll-free number (1300-22-3399) and its 24/7 Response team during the event.
The View C2 is essentially a panel van meant for commercial applications, and is powered by an Isuzu 4JB1-Turbo engine, while the View CS2 is the 4th generation of Foton’s popular window van in Mainland China, and is powered by a Cummins diesel engine that develops 147 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque. The View CS2 is 6.0 metres long and seats 18 people.
Both vehicles are Euro IV compliant, and feature the latest Bosch 4-Channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic BrakeForce Distribution (EBD).
The View C2 retails for RM83,888, while the View CS2 is priced at RM143,888 – both prices are on-the-road without insurance. Both models come with 5 years or 150,000 km warranty, whichever comes first.
As a special incentive, the first 100 customers will receive a free GPS unit, free road tax for the first year, an on-board camera and free service for 2 years or 50,000 km (inclusive of labour and consumable parts). The first tyre replacement will also be free, within the first 18 months of ownership.
