Edaran Tan Chong Motor Introduces Nissan NV350 Urvan Facelift
The Nissan NV350 Urvan facelift is now available from Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM). This high-roof people mover sports Nissan’s new design language and fits 14 people. The facelift incorporates a new Nissan V-motion signature front grille, an improved front bumper, redesigned halogen headlamps with manual leveler, as well as a new steering wheel.
The NV350 Urvan is powered by a high-torque 2.5L YD25DDTi turbocharged engine with clean-diesel technology paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Average fuel consumption is claimed at 8.7L/100km on the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) test mode. The facelifted NV350 Urvan is also certified as an EEV (Energy Efficient Vehicle).
The Urvan is fitted to comply with UN ECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) regulations (which Malaysia has adopted. This includes a speed limiter (ECE R89: Speed Limitation Device) installed to adhere to the speed limit regulation in Malaysia of 100km/h for passenger vehicles with more than 12 seats, as well as the fuel cap with lock (ECE R34: Prevention of Fire Risk). Brake Assist System (BA), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), High Mount Stop Lamp and Child Safety Lock are also standard safety features, while Nissan’s Zone Body Construction maximises protection for the occupants in the event of an accident.
