Perk Up With Costa Coffee At Selected Shell Stations In Malaysia
Shell Malaysia has entered into a partnership with Costa Coffee, to have Costa Coffee’s self-serve coffee machines at selected Shell Select convenience stores. Currently, about 71 Shell stations have Costa Coffee self-serve machines in operation and Shell Malaysia has planned an initial roll out of these coffee machines in about 200 Shell Select locations nationwide over the next 12 months (with more in the pipeline). Costa Coffee, founded in 1971, is the largest coffeehouse chain in the United Kingdom, and 2nd largest coffee brand worldwide.
The state-of-the-art self-serve coffee machine is designed by renowned Italian design house, Pininfarina, and serves Costa Coffee’s freshly ground signature Mocha Italia blend. These machines have over 200 drink combinations, allowing you to customize your beverage. e.g. adding fresh milk or flavored syrups. Malaysia is also the first country for Costa Coffee to introduce a selected range of iced drinks.

Besides barista-style coffee, the self-serve machines also offer iced flavored milk; the strawberry flavored milk is the best-selling here, according to Mr. Martin. Martin also mentioned that Costa Coffee will look into introducing local flavors as part of the company’s continuous innovation of its product line-up.
