The Polo Starts Off Volkwagen Malaysia’s ALLSTAR Range
Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has introduced the special edition ALLSTAR range, starting off with the Polo; the ALLSTAR versions of Vento and Jetta will follow soon in late May and June respectively.
ALLSTAR models are targeted at discerning customers who wish to stand out from the crowd and is part of VPCM’s aim to give Malaysian buyers value-added benefits.
“The new ALLSTAR range is a special edition line-up of our core models, which have been refreshed with cosmetic upgrades for an attention-grabbing, sportier look. The ALLSTAR range is also the first of a series of special edition initiatives that we plan to roll out this year,” commented Mr. Erik Winter, Managing Director of VPCM.
The Polo ALLSTAR is priced at RM 72,888 until further notice (RM 7k discount off retail price), and comes in
Carbon Steel Grey, Reflex Silver, Candy White or Flash Red.
There is also RM 6,000 worth of exclusive accessories such as leather seats, aluminum pedals, rear spoiler, black door strips, ‘ALLSTAR’ scuff plates, emblems and carpet mats.
The Polo ALLSTAR shares the same mechanicals as the regular Polo i.e. 1.6 liter MPI engine with 6-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic (105 PS and 153 Nm). Average fuel consumption is rated at 6.3 liters per 100 km.
