Thirty MINI Seven Edition Exclusively From MINI Malaysia
There are only 30 units of the new MINI Seven Edition made available by MINI Malaysia. This new hatchback is MINI’s homage to the Austin Seven, and is the first design model from the brand’s newest 5-Door generation.
Powered by the latest MINI TwinPower Turbo 2-liter, 4-cylinder engine that produces 192 hp and 280 Nm of torque, that’s coupled to a 6-speed Steptronic sports transmission that gives shorter shift times, the MINI Seven Edition takes just 6.8 seconds to go from standstill to 100 km/h. Average fuel consumption is rated at 5.5 liters per 100 km.
The body of the MINI Seven Edition is finished in the MINI Yours color – Lapisluxury Blue, the most intense non-metallic blue tone ever applied on a MINI. Contrasting this is the Melting Silver roof and exterior mirror caps, as well as bonnet stripes. The 17″ alloy wheels, exclusive to the Seven, are finished in another MINI Yours paint – Spectre Grey.
All of the MINI Seven Edition’s lights are LED; the daytime running light is an LED ring around the headlight. Distinguishing the MINI Seven Edition from other variants is the “Seven/7″ logo on the side scuttles.
The “Seven/7″ is also found on the door sill finishers and center instrument ring. Also exclusive to the Seven is the Malt Brown color used in the interior to complement the exclusive Diamond Malt Brown finish on the fabric / leather of the sports seats.
Another feature of the design model is the MINI Yours steering wheel made of high quality “Walknappa” leather with hand-stitched seams in waxed aluminum braided thread; the steering is finished with a Union Jack signet. The ergonomically optimized armrest is also foldable in various positions and comes with an integrated storage compartment.
Within the centre instrument ring is an 8.8″ High Resolution Navigation System Professional which has a 3D user interface view with navigation, office and multimedia functions, and reverse camera view. Media is output to the 12-speaker Harmon Kardon Hi-Fi sound system.
The MINI Controller with touchpad allows you to enter destinations via handwriting, or rotated and pressed to access the car’s functions and settings. The Snap-In Adapter enables you to connect your phone with the car’s external aerial to ensures the best possible reception at all times, and acts as a charging dock.
Other features include Comfort Access, which is a smart entry and start feature, paddle shifters as well as the MINI Driving Modes which are activated via a rotary switch at the base of the gear lever. In addition to the standard MID mode, there is a choice of SPORT and GREEN mode; these modes determine the characteristic curves of the accelerator, steering and gear shifts.
Standard also are Dynamic Stability Control with Dynamic Traction Control, Electronic Differential Lock Control and Performance Control which is a system that counters any tendency to understeer prior to reaching the threshold level.

The exclusive MINI Seven Edition has an estimated price of RM 253,888 (on the road for private registration, without insurance) and includes the MINI 4 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service.
