Naza Italia Introduces New Maserati Quattroporte

NAZA Italia, the official importer and distributor for Maserati in Malaysia, has introduced the new Maserati Quattroporte. The Maserati Quattroporte engine is based on V6 architecture and available in certain markets with 350 hp, 20 hp more than the previous version, and is capable of delivering a powerful drive with 500 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds with a faster top speed of 270 km/h.

The Quattroporte S, with the 410 hp 3.0 litre Ferrari-produced V6 Twin-Turbo and rear wheel drive offers 550 Nm of torque and a 286 km/h top speed, accelerating from 0-100km/h in a quicker 5.1 seconds.

Meanwhile, the Quattroporte GTS, powered by the 3.8 litre Ferrari-produced V8 Twin-Turbo with rear wheel drive, gets 530 hp and 710 Nm of torque which takes it up to a top speed of 310 km/h; 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is just 4.7 seconds.

All versions of the Quattroporte are fitted with a state-of-the-art ZF 8-speed automatic transmission and electronically-controlled Skyhook shock absorbers; with an ideal 50:50 weight distribution and extensive use of aluminium in the chassis, body and suspension for improved performance and comfort.

The restyled Quattroporte boasts a new bumper design with matte black profile at the front and the matte black extractor at the rear. The front grille is sharper and more imposing, and bears new vertical chrome elements, which contrast with the depth of the shark-nose effect. Other distinguishing details of the new Quattroporte are the matte black side skirts and the wing mirrors, which have been slightly restyled to incorporate new technology.

An electrically adjustable Air Shutter is fitted into the front grille between the air vents and radiator. The Air Shutter provides optimal control of the engine’s coolant temperature and, together with the optimization of the new front and rear bumpers, air conveyor and flat bottom, reduces drag by 10%.

Improvements to the interior have been introduced to create a cleaner look by highlighting only the functional parts. This takes place through the clean integration of the new interface elements with the infotainment area and central console which features a new climate control system. The infotainment system uses a high-resolution 8.4” capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch and is compatible with both the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring functions.

You also have the option of including the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems which includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop&Go, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning with Advanced Brake Assist, and Automated Emergency Braking. An additional new Surround View Camera is available as an option in combination with the Driver Assistance package.

The  Quattroporte is available at starting price of RM 778,800.00, and Quattroporte S and Quattroporte GTS price is available upon request. The prices include a 3 year / 60,000km service package, as well as local duties and taxes.

Further, you can choose to have your Quattroporte or Quattroporte S in two optional distinctive trims i.e. GranLusso and GranSport; the top-of-the-range Quattroporte GTS V8 gets these trim choices as standard.

GranLusso Trim

The GranLusso trim features a new front lower fascia design with an elegant floating bridge element and a delicate spoiler, trimmed with chrome bumper finish and body colour bumper profiles. The profile incorporates side skirts, while on the rear the look is even cleaner, featuring a sculpted retroreflector and a body coloured spoiler; the exterior look is capped off with 20” Mercurio rims and black brake calipers.

The optional Ermenegildo Zegna Edition interior refines this model’s luxury even further with patented silk fabric (an industry first) on the seats, doors, headliner and sun visors; the seat upholstery details and the label behind the sun visors make this version unique and exclusive.

Interior ambience is further enhanced with a Radica wood dashboard and leather steering wheel with wooden inserts. The trim incorporates comfort-oriented equipment like power foot pedals, electric rear sunblind, four-zone air conditioning, heated rear seats and extended keyless entry.

GranSport Trim

The GranSport trim is sportier and enhances the car’s aggressive appearance with new exterior design cues and interior content which reflect the legendary racing heritage of the Maserati brand.

The front of the Quattroporte GranSport has a restyled centre and side air intakes to improve cooling while showcasing an aggressive front end. The lower fascia is linked to the grille with aerodynamic inspired splits. The back features a composition between the centre fuselage and two side pockets which really stands out and draws attention to the exhausts. An aggressive Black Piano spoiler completes the rear view.

The Quattroporte GranSport is fitted with larger 21” Titano rims and features a glossy black finish on the bumpers, red brake calipers and blue inserts in the front Trident and side Saetta badge, as well as blue Tridents at the centre of the wheels. As an option, the front grille of the GranSport can be ordered in a gloss black finish.

The interior of the Quattroporte GrandSport has high-gloss Black Piano wood trim on the dashboard, redesigned front and rear sport seats, sport steering wheel (in carbon fibre or full leather) with aluminium shift paddles, and the stainless steel sport pedals make driving the Quattroporte GranSport a sportier experience.

You can further customize the car with the optional Exterior Carbon Pack for the GranSport trim for an even sportier look. This pack features wing mirrors, door handles and B-pillar cover, plus the profile of the front bumper, in carbon fibre.
