Isuzu Malaysia Breaks Out The D-Max Beast

Isuzu Malaysia has set free the Isuzu D-Max Beast in a limited run of 360 units. The Beast can be your pet from RM 119,559 for the 2.5-litre model to RM 127,548 for the 3-litre (on-the-road with insurance and a 3-year/100,000 km warranty). Both models are 4×4 with 5-speed automatic transmission.

The Beast variant adds extra rugged looks to the already tough looking D-Max V-Cross. It gets a contrasting color scheme (with Magnum Solid White or Titan Silver Metallic as the base color), a dark grey grille and bonnet garnish as well as matte black bumper guard and wheel arches for a bolder appearance. Black also surrounds the headlights and covers the exclusively-designed 17″ alloy rims for a mean look. LED daytime running lights come standard.

The truck bed gets a Claw Bar with a lockable lid and a spoiler. The lid houses a 4-LED light set to illuminate your cargo. The door kick panel isn’t black to make it stand out from the black sill moulding and features an LED-lit Isuzu logo.

The seats get premium two-tone Italian leather, with ‘Beast’ embroidered, and the interior trim has been replaced with a darker shade of grey.

Other interior upgrades include the audio system which is now a Kenwood multimedia player with a 6.2″ touchscreen, 6-speaker surround system and a Bongiovi digital power amplifier for extra kick. This kit also comes with a reverse camera.

Power-wise, the 2.5-litre produces 136 PS and 320 Nm of torque between 1,800 – 2,800 rpm while the 3-litre pushes 177 PS and 380 Nm within the same rev range. Both diesel engines are equipped with variable geometry turbocharger.
