New Perodua Sentral flagship outlet opens in PJ
Perodua has officially opened its new standard-bearing Perodua Sentral flagship centre based in Petaling Jaya. A keystone of the company’s efforts to raise customer service standards, the massive facility is a one-stop outlet offering a wide range of services relating to both sales and after-sales.
“The Perodua Sentral is the personification of our transformation initiatives to become global competitive – the building is equipped with facilities which are the best have to offer so far,” Perodua President & CEO, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.
Aminar further added that the outlet’s distinguishing feature is its ‘mono-operation’ methodology, in which both sales and service operations are integrated into one seamless experience from the perspective of the customer and headed by one outlet manager.
Built at a cost of RM36 million not including land purchase cost, the multi-storey facility has a built up area of 15,700 square metres.
Operations in the outlet began earlier this year on 5 May, and services offered include a mini Road Transport Department (JPJ) counter, Gloria Jeans cafe, automated teller machine, and Pre-Owned Vehicle (POV) service for customers looking to trade their current vehicle of any brand for a Perodua. For Perodua, the is also home to the company’s sales and service central region operations.
“From purchasing a car to service reminders to insurance renewals and even to keeping track of your Perodua reward points via our latest customer loyalty programme – UFirst – everything related to your Perodua experience will be cared for,” Aminar said.
