Honda City now available in Dark Ruby Red Pearl colour

Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd has announced a new colour, Dark Ruby Red Pearl, for its best-selling model, the City.

The new shade was introduced to the City’s colour palette in response to findings from Honda’s market research revealing red to be a preferred colour of the City among many Honda customers.

Since its launch in March last year, 55,587 units of the 4th Generation City has been sold as of 17 August 2015. The City contributed 41 percent of the Honda Malaysia’s total sales in the first half of 2015 securing the top position in its segment. Four model generations combined, there are over 200,000 units of the City currently plying Malaysian roads.

The new Dark Ruby Red Pearl complements four existing colours of the City – Taffeta White, Modern Steel Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl – and is available in all Honda showrooms nationwide.

Honda Malaysia is optimistic that the new colour will be well received among Malaysian buyers and is targeting for it to account for 300 units in the City’s monthly sales tally.
