Updated Mitsubishi Pajero for 2015
Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has introduced the 2015 version of its Pajero flagship large SUV, incorporating aesthetic interior and external updates along with improved equipment levels.
From the outside, the new 2015 Mitsubishi Pajero can be readily identified by its revised grille design, daytime running lights, chrome-surrounded front fog lamps, and a redesigned spare tyre cover with rear license plate garnish.
Inside, the dashboard now sports a new selection materials featuring premium metallic trim interspersed by wood print finish and leather upholstery. Amenities include rear entertainment with 9-inch display, electric driver seat adjustment, and automatic climate control. Rear passengers have independent control their air conditioning, which is dispensed through roof-mounted blowers aimed at both the second and third rows.
Helping the driver through hazardous conditions is the standard fitment of stability and traction control, whilst the fitment front, side, and curtain airbags help mitigate potential injuries or fatalities in the event an accident does happen.
Mechanically, the 2015 Pajero retains its familiar components, with the 3.8-litre V6 MIVEC petrol engine pushing out 247hp and 329Nm through an INVECS-II 5-speed automatic transmission. Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD system offers four selectable driving modes that is able to optimize traction to different road conditions.
Fully imported from Japan, the upgraded Mitsubishi Pajero is priced at RM RM299,035.35 on-the-road with insurance. It is available in three colours – Warm White Mica, Eiger Grey Metallic and Cool Silver Metallic. Owners also get to enjoy a 3-year/100,000 km warranty.
