New Ford 3S opens in Juru, Penang
Local Ford distributors Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) has opened a new 3S branch in the popular Juru Auto City situated along the Juru Interchange of the North-South Highway.
Operated by SDAC itself, this new outlet brings the total number of Ford sales and service outlets in Malaysia to 48, with the objective to hit 50 outlets by the end of this year.
“SDAC is committed to further enhance the Ford dealer network to support the expanding line-up of Ford vehicles in Malaysia. This new facility supports our on-going efforts to improve customer service offerings to a growing base of customers on the island as well as the mainland,” said Lee Eu San, Managing Director of SDAC.
Clad in Ford’s standard corporate identity, the new outlet showcases the Blue Oval’s latest range of global cars in its showroom, accommodating up to five display units at any one time, cars and is open seven days a week. There is also a comfortable, user-friendly lounge with free Wi-Fi, TV and other amenities that ensure comfort and convenience for customers.
The adjacent service centre, which is open six days a week, has four service bays and is equipped with the latest Ford diagnostic tools, as well as staffed by Ford-trained technicians.
“The opening of this new facility underlines the shared commitment that SDAC and Ford has towards customer service enhancements in Malaysia as we continue to expand our showrooms with a series of high-tech, fuel efficient and value-for-money products,” said Veemala Rethinasamy, Sales and Marketing Director, Malaysia, Ford Motor Company.
On a separate development but in the same vicinity, the Ford 3S Centre operated by Airmas Auto Sdn Bhd located at 180, Jalan Jelutong on the island will be participating in the Ford ‘Fiesta 1.0L Urban Playground’ experiential tour on 7-8 June, where visitors to the showroom can test drive the new Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost.
