Prices announced for all-new Toyota Corolla Altis
The Toyota Corolla Altis is due for its full model change this year and UMW Toyota Motor has just released an announcement today revealing confirmed prices of the three variants set to go on sale, namely the 1.8E, 2.0G, and 2.0V.
As expected, the new Corolla Altis retains the ZR-series Dual VVT-i engines introduced in the predecessor’s 2010 facelift with all variants coming standard with Toyota’s Super CVT-i transmission. Both engines are quoted with unchanged outputs, with 138hp/173Nm for 1.8-litre base model and 143hp/187Nm for the 2.0-litre variants.
Notable standard equipment on all variants include automatic climate control, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, 60:40 split folding rear seats, ABS, EBD, dual airbags, ISOFIX, tilt & telescopic steering, and halogen projector headlamps. The 2.0G is more or less on par with the 1.8E on equipment with Optitron instruments and central touchscreen being the only useful enhancements.
The range-topping 2.0V comes with considerably more equipment, being enhanced with LED headlamps, daytime running lights, electric driver seat adjust, traction control, and stability control.
Confirmed on-the-road prices of the all-new 2014 Toyota Corolla Altis in various parts of the country are as follows:
