‘Volkswagen On Tour’ roadshow to tour 13 locations nationwide

In the last two years, Volkswagen have thrilled Malaysian enthusiasts with its massive Das Auto road shows taking place first at the Bukit Jalil Stadium in 2011 followed by the KL Convention Centre in 2012. This year, Volkswagen is bringing the show to the road, with the ‘Volkswagen On Tour’ showcase kicking off last week and set to bring the brand experience to 13 locations nationwide.

As before, admission to the road shows are free and visitors can look forward to an exhibition area spanning over 11,000 sq ft displaying Volkswagen’s full range of vehicles sold in Malaysia and various demonstrations of technologies incorporated in them particularly in regards to fuel efficiency under the ‘Think Blue’ concept and safety. Test drives of selected Volkswagen vehicles are available and so is a driving simulator.

All attendees can participate in the ‘Volkswagen On Tour’ Photo contest, which requires them to snap a picture of themselves with a complete coaster puzzle obtained at the roadshow. They then need to post the photo with the hashtag #VolkswagenOnTour either on Instagram and follow the @VolkswagenOnTour account or on Facebook and tag the Volkswagen Malaysia Facebook page to stand the chance of winning one of nine prizes of an extended two week test drive with any of their favourite Volkswagen models.

The ‘Volkswagen On Tour’ road kicked off last weekend at the Queensbay Mall outdoor car park in Penang from 13 to 15 December, and the next five locations have been announced at the following dates and venues:
– 20-22 Dec 2013: UO Angsana, Perak
– 27-29 Dec 2013: Sunway Hotel carpark, Penang
– 3-5 Jan 2014: Aeon Bukit Tinggi, Selangor
– 10-12 Jan 2014: PD TF Value Mart, Negri Sembilan
– 17-19 Jan 2014: Mydin MITC outdoor carpark, Malacca.
