PRO-NET Expands EV Charging Access For smart & e.MAS To 320 Condominiums Through New CPO Partnerships
In a major push to improve electric vehicle (EV) charging access for Malaysians living in high-rise residences, PRO-NET, the new energy arm of PROTON, has partnered with 4 leading Charging Point Operators (CPOs) i.e. Charge+, ChargeSini, RExharge, and Charge N Go. This initiative brings EV charging facilities to 320 condominium locations nationwide, significantly enhancing the convenience for smart and Proton e.MAS vehicle owners.
The latest move builds on PRO-NET’s earlier collaboration with EV Connection (EVC) in December 2024, which focused on expanding charging solutions for high-rise dwellers. With this expanded network, PRO-NET now enables access to a total of 1,053 residential charging points across Malaysia.
“Our collaboration with these CPOs supports our goal of making EV ownership simpler and more accessible,” said Mr Zhang Qiang, Chief Executive Officer of PRO-NET. “We’re especially focused on helping high-rise residents who often face challenges when it comes to home charging. This partnership not only brings convenient, reliable, and affordable charging closer to them, but also makes it easier for residents and building management to get the support they need to set up EV chargers. It’s a big step toward helping more people make the switch to electric with confidence.”
Strategic CPO Collaboration To Serve High-Rise Communities
Each CPO in the collaboration brings unique strengths to the table:
-
Charge+: Singapore’s largest EV charging operator, currently deploying chargers at 18 condominium sites in Malaysia as part of its regional expansion.
-
ChargeSini: Malaysia’s largest local CPO by network coverage, expanding installations at 204 condominium locations. It has a total of 1,010 charging points nationwide.
-
Charge N Go: A residential and workplace charging specialist, installing chargers at 93 condo sites.
-
RExharge: A clean energy solutions provider with charging solutions backed by more than 1,000 residential projects and more than 100 EV chargers, will be installing chargers at 5 condo locations.
Combined, these efforts reflect PRO-NET’s broader strategy to bolster the national EV ecosystem by ensuring residents of high-rise buildings have practical, affordable charging options, directly where they live.

The partnership not only empowers consumers, especially e.MAS and smart EV owners, but also aligns with Malaysia’s broader EV adoption goals. By making EV ownership more viable for high-rise residents, PRO-NET’s approach helps bridge the accessibility gap, and brings the country closer to a truly connected, sustainable transportation network.
