Toyota Dream Car Art Contest for children
The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, an annual international children’s art contest held since 2004, is open for Malaysian entries this year for all children up to 15 years of age. Participants are required to send in their entries by 15 Feb 2013, where they will be entered into the contest’s national phase.
Entries will be organized into three categories based on their age groups – under 10 years, 10 to 12 years, and 13 to 15 years – and the winner of each category will advance to compete in the international phase of the contest against entries from 70 different countries for this year’s contest. Winners of the international phase (World Contest) will win a trip to Tokyo, Japan to attend the awards ceremony.
According to Datuk Ismet Suki, President of UMW Toyota Motor, “Through the ‘Toyota Dream Car Art Contest’, UMW Toyota Motor wishes to strengthen the relationship with local communities and customers, and to make children, who are the future of our society, understand and design cars along with Toyota to create ties with them.”
“This is also a good chance for our Malaysian children, who have drawing passion and creative imagination, to try and compete with other ones in the world”, said Datuk Ismet Suki.
