Nico Rosberg fuels up for six Petronas contest winners

Petronas launched its 1,001st station in the country yesterday, and present to mark the occasion was Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 driver Nico Rosberg, fresh from his fifth place finish in the Singapore GP last weekend. A launch ceremony for the station was held at night, but earlier in the day, Rosberg dropped by to help six lucky winners of a Facebook contest organized by Petronas Dagangan Berhad to refuel their vehicles.

“Congratulations to Petronas on the opening of their 1,001st station. I always enjoy visiting Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur, but it’s especially nice to be here today and share the occasion. Last year, we did a programme at the first ever Petronas station, and today I am at the 1,001st station, which is an impressive accomplishment,” Rosberg said.
